On May 13, the Sheraton Hotel in Bloomington will host AHA’s Prom. Student Government is currently planning the dance, which involves the ballroom set-up, dinner menu, dance floor, music playlist, activities, and more. Tickets will be sold online and in the lunchroom, with the price being $70. Tickets will go on sale within two weeks of the dance. Dates are not required, so tickets are sold individually.

Whether students choose to go with a date or with friends, there are countless opportunities throughout the night. Dinner will be included with the price of admission, so no need to make a reservation at an outside restaurant. Dinner will be buffet style, with main entrees of chicken or brisket, accompanied by numerous side dishes and options for those with dietary restrictions. All funds from the tickets cover the cost of the DJ, dinner, venue rental, and all other activities and provisions throughout the night. This event is a Junior and Senior Prom; underclassmen may go if they are invited by a junior or senior. Prom is a time to dress up, dance, build new relationships and have fun, so don’t be afraid to reach out! Dances are a great way to get to know new people and connect with people outside of your grade.
