As we get into the groove of the school year, clubs are starting up, including the Sustainability Club. Sustainability Club is open to all students and meets once a month on Wednesday mornings. In the past, they have worked to instate trash, recycling, and compost bins in the lunchroom. Regarding clothing, they have acquired a USAgain bin for old clothes to be recycled. Working to spread awareness, they have done events during the week of Earth Day, selling buttons and stickers. Doing this helps everyone in the student body participate in eco-friendly practices. As Sustainability Club progresses, they plan to offer service hours opportunities that are friendly towards the environment.

Meetings range from large events or small activities to discussions on how to better the community.
