The Harry Potter Club has been a part of the Holy Angels community for over five years. Because clubs were limited last year, the Harry Potter Club was restarted this year by senior Grace Fitzgibbons. This year, the club hopes for many new members and good interactions with different grades. “We take the information we learn from the books and movies and we apply it to fun and interactive activities,” Fitzgibbons said. The first meeting on November 17th was met by very enthusiastic and passionate Harry Potter fans and lots of engaging conversations. During the first meeting, the members found out which house they were in. In future meetings, the club will watch the movies, eat snacks, do crafts, and get sorted into houses. The Harry Potter Club is planning on bringing many different ideas and activities together into one club. If you join the club, you will be able to hang out outside of school with individuals who have a common interest in the series of movies and books. While having read the books and watched the movies may be helpful to be a part of the club, anyone is welcome to join.
