The annual Sadie Hawkins Dance took place on Friday, December 3rd. This dance is traditionally a “girls ask boys occasion”; many girls enjoyed this opportunity to create unique and thoughtful signs to ask the boy of their choosing to the dance.
The fun-filled event started at 7:30 with bustling groups of students arriving in various costumes. Some costume themes include angels and devils, cowboys and cowgirls, exotic animals and zookeepers, and tooth fairies and dentists. There was lively music and replenishing beverages that made some want to party all night long.
Overall, the numbers in attendance seemed to drop this year compared to previous years. This could potentially be due to people taking extra precautions against COVID-19. It still remains a terrific time and the most favorable Holy Angels dance of many.
