The Holy Angels Girls Hockey program has been very successful this season. Currently ranked 5th in the state, the girls have a record of 15-3-1. The team is led by Captains Grace Clements, Ella Clow, and Celeste Rimstad. The girls practice at Richfield Ice Arena every day after school. The girls also train with Noah Draper at ETS. As the captains note, “The team really enjoys training with him.”
The team is doing better than usual, which may be due to the fact that the “team chemistry is better than it has ever been before. It is like a big family, better vibes.” One of the most exciting games the captains enjoyed was against one of Holy Angels’s rivals, Minneapolis. The game was especially memorable due to the fact that it was senior night and the girls took a huge victory, winning 5-2.
Looking to the end of the season, the girls only have a few weeks left. They hope to do well in their final games of the season and in the Section Tournament as well.
