Mr. Schaak is AHA’s newest math teacher. After teaching for four years in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley in Washington prior to the pandemic, he is back in Minnesota, teaching statistics and problem-solving, and intermediate algebra. With a degree from Concordia University, St. Paul, five years of teaching experience, and a love for helping students, Mr. Schaak is a perfect fit for the AHA community. Outside of AHA, he enjoys spending time with his two-year-old Border Collie, Sheldon, watching sports, and powerlifting in the AHA gym. You can also find him on the baseball field this spring as the new varsity assistant coach; he hopes to utilize his many years of playing and five years of coaching to help the Stars triumph in the field and at the plate. While his room is a little out of the way, Mr. Schaak’s fun-loving attitude and high energy can already be felt throughout the iCenter.
