The Class of 2026 had their first chance at electing their representatives to Student Government on October 31. This year, 149 freshmen voted for the eight candidates running. Cici Xie was elected class president, Emme Couillard was elected class coordinator, and, in a rare tie, Luke Michels and Ben Randolph were elected co-vice presidents. Mr. Sawyer, the student government moderator, commented, “It was impressive to have so many candidates! It’ll be interesting to have co-vice presidents.” 

Having co-vice presidents is not without precedent. Mike Krempa ‘05 and Isaiah Goodman ‘05 tied for class president in their freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Senior year, the two decided to run as one person, running as “Misaiah Krempman”, combining their two names.
