Super Soccer Saturday is a yearly tradition at AHA. Each year on the last Saturday of September, AHA hosts all 7 of its soccer teams in a full day of soccer and fun events. Super Soccer Saturday is not unique to AHA as many schools around the Metro area, such as Southwest and Washburn, host a similar event. This year, AHA had a clean sweep at home, winning every game!

Girls Soccer

The girls started off the day strong against Totino-Grace with the C team winning their game 1-0 with a goal by Arianna Murray ‘26. At 1 p.m., the JV kept the winning streak going with a goal by Syndey Ebner ‘24 to win the game 1-0. Girls varsity continues to defend their #1 state ranking by defeating Totino-Grace in the second half with a goal from Charlotte Rosen ‘24, assisted by Addy Judson ‘26. The girls finish out their regular season games with away games against Fridley and Southwest. Make sure to pop out and cheer them on!

Boys Soccer

The boys kicked off Super Soccer Saturday with two wins in a row with the Gold team winning their game against Minnehaha Academy 4-0. Joseph Hainey ‘28 scored twice, and Brock Hurst ‘26 and Lincoln Ayers Assad ‘26 each added one of their own. The Blue team followed not long after with a goal by Henry Sharpe ‘25 to end the game against Highland Park with a 1-0 win. JV won their game against Worthington 2-0 with goals from Logan Ciresi ‘25 and Colin Magdziak ‘24. Varsity ended out the day with a 2-1 win against Worthington with goals from Luke Foley ‘24 and Jackson Hegwood ‘25. The boys also finish up their regular season games with an away game on Tuesday against Fridley and a home game against Bloomington Kennedy on Saturday. Go support the boys this week!
